Almond Nougat - chunks of soft chewy nougat with pieces of (no prizes for guessing!) almond. Trust me - its moreish!

As a child, one of my very special treats was to be given a box of Callard and Browser's Dessert Nougat. This nougat is good, with lots of almonds in it, but somehow it just doesn't quite hit the mark. Maybe it's missing those tiny bits of angelica and glace cherries or maybe it's the rice paper that they came wrapped in, inside the silver foil. I'm not sure quite which, but it is a very good nougat in its own right.
